Women's Safety: Dating Violence

Friends Helping Friends: How to Help Abusers

• Encourage the abuser to seek help. Refer him to a student counseling center or a batterer intervention specialist.

• Don't let him deny or minimize the violence.

• Help him recognize that violence is not an acceptable way to solve problems.
